Drom - New York, NY - 2/20/14
Today marks the one-year anniversary of my album Texana. It’s got country, it’s got rock, it’s got country-rock. It’s got songs about love, rodeos and rodeos of love. It was a pleasure making this album with some of my favorite musicians, so celebrate the anniversary with us and download a copy.
Looking forward to being back in Houston this weekend, for a great show at House of Blues’ Bronze Peacock room. Shall be yours truly with Denny Mac, Mayeux & Broussard, Placid Blue and the Brandon Matthews Band. Snag your tickets in advance and we’ll see you in Bayou City.
Your next opportunity to see my American Flag Les Paul will be at DROM in NYC on Thursday night, as Daniel Day-Lewis and the News (America’s #1 band) makes its long-awaited return to the stage. We will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the NYU-Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
To all the riders in the Rodeo of Love, Happy Valentine’s Day.
A band I am most humbled & privileged to be a part of, Daniel Day Lewis & The News, makes its return to the stage on Thursday, Feb. 20th at Drom. “America’s #1 Band” will be performing with Bronze Fondue and raising $ for the NYU-Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music scholarship fund. It will be loud and we will play all your favorite songs…ALL of them!
I’m very excited for one of my great friends, Laura Lee Bishop, who released her debut single for Tommy Boy Entertainment today. I co-produced and played the guitars on “Real Man,” which is currently #14 on the iTunes ‘New Singles’ chart. Buy it, tell your homies & show LLB some love!
Thank you Hill Country BBQ - Brooklyn for my new, favorite descriptor of my music: Texas Brooklyn Nexus.
