I recently spent some time in the Mississippi Delta, on the prowl for some juke joints and hot tamales. I found both and wanted to share some photos of the former. The clubs pictured are in the following Mississippi towns: Bentonia (Bue Front Cafe), Greenville (Joe’s Lounge, Club Millenium) and Merigold (Poor Monkey Lounge).

A special, public, shout-out to my beloved minivan, Bluefin Tuna, is in order. Not only has she traveled a couple thousand miles with me on tour across Texas over the past three weeks, she just completed a two-day barge of a journey from Austin to New Jersey (with a trailer in tow, no less!). Love you, Tuna!
The Texana Tour came to a close last night at Yanez Tavern in Maxwell, and it was a super rad one! Thanks to all who came to the shows, to the venues across TX, LA & AR that had us, and to Dylan Aiello & Denny Mac for being a most rocking rhythm section.
Had a lovely time in Houston yesterday, enjoying Mexican sweets and playing a show at Bohemeo’s. Sadly, the final show of the Texana Tour is tonight, but we are gonna rock it hard! Yañez Tavern in Maxwell at 8pm!
